Terms and Conditions
Transparency and professional standards at the core of AMERICAN DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, INC.'s logistics bridge.
1. Freight Liability & Coverage
Establishing clear boundaries is essential for any transport operation. When we handle your cargo, whether it's transit through regional hubs or local door-to-door delivery, liability is governed by standard industry conventions. We're committed to the safe handling of your goods, but did you know that standard carrier liability depends on weight rather than value?
We provide various levels of insurance for warehousing and transport. You'll find that our team prioritises the integrity of every shipment, though we strongly recommend third-party cargo insurance for high-value forwarding projects.
2. Transit Delays & Operational Logistics
Logistics can be complex. While AMERICAN DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, INC. targets 100% on-time performance across all transportation services, exterior factors—traffic, port congestion, or customs inspections—can occasionally disrupt the transit timeline. We don't guarantee arrival times as absolute certainties, but we maintain proactive communication through our shipment tracking portal.
3. Warehousing and Storage Insurance
Operating out of 290 Commerce Dr, Fort Washington, we manage high-security warehouses for freight transportation. Storage terms include specific guidelines regarding hazardous materials and perishable cargo. Specifically, insurance coverage during the storage period is limited to our facility's professional liability, unless an extended protection plan is requested.
